Celtic and Rosenborg were in the first ball out of the bowl for the Champions League Third Qualifying Round draw. They were immediately followed by AEK Athens of Greece who will play the winner out of the Scottish and Norwegian champions.
AEK haven’t had the previous rounds to contend with. If Celtic get past Rosenborg they will face the Greek Champions.
There were better draws that could have come out of the bowl, but if you want to earn your place in the group stage you must walk the path. Right now it’s only about the two Rosenborg games though.
Deal with those matches and then we can start thinking about the Greek capital. Next stop, Paradise and Rosenborg.
Hail! Hail!
